Refund & Exchange Policy

At New North Greenhouses, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality products and exceptional service. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

1. General Return Guidelines

  • Proof of Purchase: All returns and exchanges require the original receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Condition of Items: Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, and in the original packaging.
  • Timeframe: Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 14 days of the purchase date.

2. Plant Material

a. Perennials, Trees, and Shrubs

  • Guarantee Period: We offer a 12 month guarantee on hardy perennials, trees, and shrubs.
  • Conditions: If your plant fails to survive within one year of purchase due to root failure or visible graft points, we will provide a one-time replacement or store credit equal to the original purchase price.
  • Exclusions: Guarantee does not cover winter damage, damage due to neglect, improper planting, extreme weather conditions, or pest infestations.

b. Annuals and Tropical Plants

  • Return Period: Due to their seasonal nature, annuals and tropical plants are final sale.

3. Non-Plant Merchandise

a. Gardening Tools, Pots, and Accessories

  • Return Period: Items can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase.
  • Conditions: Items must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by the original receipt.

b. Giftware and Home Décor

  • Return Period: Returns or exchanges accepted within 14 days of purchase.
  • Conditions: Items must be in new condition, with all tags attached, and accompanied by the original receipt.

4. Special Orders and Custom Items

  • Policy: Special orders and custom items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

5. Gift Cards

  • Policy: Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. Refunds

  • Method: Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
  • Processing Time: Please allow up to 5 business days for the refund to be processed.

7. Exchanges

  • Policy: Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the desired item is unavailable, a store credit will be issued.

8. Damaged or Defective Items

  • Procedure: If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 48 hours of purchase.
  • Resolution: We will arrange for a replacement or issue a refund upon verification.
